ELIP offer secondary, primary and primary with SEND. ELIP is focussed purely on mainstream Primary and Primary with SEND and is based at Tor View in Haslingden. The way our course is designed, allows students (should they wish) the flexibility to experience both mainstream and SEND teaching.
GENERAL PRIMARY 5-11 WITH QTS AND SEND/INCLUSION.
This route is appropriate for trainees with an ambition to work in the special school sector with learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Students will be based within primary or secondary age phases (dependent on the cognitive ability of the pupil cohort). A contrasting placement in a mainstream primary school ensures that on gaining recommendation for QTS, students can opt to undertake their induction year as an NQT in either the mainstream primary or special school sector.
