Financial support for trainee teachers is the best it has ever been!
You could get up to £30,000 tax-free while you train.
The eligibility criteria for financial support, and the amount you can expect to receive, will depend on the subjects you apply to teach and the classification of your degree or highest relevant academic qualification.
Want to teach a subject that your degree isn’t in? You may be eligible for a funded course to increase your subject knowledge before starting your training.
Our fees are £9,250 for academic year 2019-20.
UK and EU students will normally be eligible to apply for a student loan to pay the cost of the tuition fees which is available through Student Finance England. Our staff can assist with this process and provide advice and support if you need it.
A number of programmes have a bursary or scholarship available – if you are enrolled on a non-salaried postgraduate course and meet the eligibility criteria, you will begin receiving payments automatically by your chosen teacher training provider.
