Shortlisted applicants are invited to attend a 2-part assessment.  During part 1 held at one of our partner schools candidates will usually take part in:

  • a written assessment – this is for us to assess your literacy skills
  • a numeracy assessment – this is to assess any gapd you may have in your application of maths
  • a mini-teach – this will be in subject area and usually lasts 20 minutes, this is for us to assess how you interact with young people
  • a subject audit – this is for us to assess if you you need further development and may ask you to complete a SKE (Subject Knowledge Enhancement course)

Part 2– this will take place on zoom and will involve a panel interview
